Birchwood Walking Football is a men's session for players aged 50 and over, held at Birchwood Leisure Centre in Hatfield.
Join one (or both) of two weekly sessions on the sports centre’s outdoor 3G pitch. The first takes place every Tuesday morning from 10:00am to 11:30am, and the second on Friday evenings from 7:00pm to 8:00pm.
The session caters for mixed abilities and follows FA rules for walking football, with contact not permitted.
New players are invited to simply show up and join in, with no need to book or call ahead. Sessions cost £5 each and are designed specifically to make the game more manageable for older adults.
