Free sessions from Burnley FC in the Community.
Enjoy walking football sessions at the home of a Premier League club with Burnley FC in the Community.
Since 2016, over 130 players have taken part in over 180 hours of walking football across the region, all completely free of charge.
Monday and Friday sessions at the Elite Training Centre, Turf Moor, are a brilliant way for people of all ages to get fit and return to sport. Each Turf Moor walking football session lasts for one hour and includes short drills, rule run-throughs and mini-games on an indoor astroturf pitch.
Matches are non-competitive and non-contact in nature, with unlimited touches of the ball permitted below head height. New players are welcome to turn up and join in without calling ahead.
Burnley FC in the Community is the award-winning, official charity of Burnley Football Club, working to deliver over 30 projects for people in and around the town.
Please note that all Burnley FC walking football sessions are term-time only, including a separate session at Todmorden Sports Centre, every Wednesday. Please contact the organiser to check an event’s status beforehand if you are unsure of term dates.
