Enjoy fun walking football sessions at Elm Road Sports Field, courtesy of Active Fenland and March Park Rangers FC.
These hour-long sessions take place every Wednesday morning on a grass pitch and are aimed primarily at men aged 50 and over.
The Elm Road walking football group has a very active Facebook page containing a large number of photos, videos and reports of previous events. We highly recommend taking a look.
Wednesday sessions are non-contact in nature and played in a fun and friendly spirit. Games are usually followed by a welcome warm-down of hot drinks and biscuits.
Active Fenland is a Fenland District Council project that aims to increase activity in the region through sport. A second walking football session takes place at the home ground of Chatteris Town FC, every Monday.
