At YORK VIKINGS WALKING FOOTBALL CLUB, Social Walking football is at the Club's core and is an absolute game-changer for the young at heart and for everyone 50+ who loved their football in the past and now wants to improve their physical health and secure their mental well being.
Social Walking Football at VIKINGS promotes increased activity and exercise, yes, but playing regularly offers so much more besides. Making new friends and forming lasting relationships with like-minded people, gaining that sense of community and enjoying your football again, whatever your ability level, in a wholly supportive environment you’ll find is all part of the package.
Social sessions are twice weekly (pretty much every week) on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons (3.30 PM) and our social sessions are open to everyone 50+.
We guarantee that new members will be made very welcome and we don’t apologise at all for the good-hearted humour that is all part of the enjoyment to be found at YORK VIKINGS cracking weekly social Walking Football sessions.
