1. Are the minimum odds requirements reasonable?
Almost every betting welcome offer will include a minimum odds clause meaning that your qualifying bets must be placed at odds above a certain level.
For example, your £10 free bet may only be valid for improbable bets and not the odds-on favourite you were planning to back.
Always check this beforehand. High minimum odds are designed to influence you into riskier bets simply to unlock the bonus.
Lower odds requirements tend to offer more flexibility and are generally better for new or inexperienced bettors. Look for offers that strike a fair balance of generous rewards and reasonable chance.

2. Are the wagering requirements realistic?
Wagering requirements are the number of times you need to bet your bonus (or your winnings) before you can withdraw them. For example, a £10 free bet with a 5x wagering requirement means you must stake £50 before cashing out.
High wagering requirements can make it difficult to actually benefit from an offer. Some betting sites even include your deposit in the offer calculation meaning your real money funds will also be locked until wagering is cleared.
