Over 40s walking football in Birmingham.
Come along to Birmingham Over 40s walking football sessions, run by the UK’s biggest walking football club, every Monday, Thursday and Saturday.
Sessions are especially tailored for both genders and designed to suit the specific needs of players aged 40 and over. In addition, Thursday evening and Saturday afternoon events are structured to also accommodate those recovering from injury.
The astroturf pitches at Beechcroft Tennis and Multi Sports Club provide a safe and stable surface for non-contact, eight-a-side games.
All Birmingham Walking Football Club sessions incorporate a welcome from the coach, a short but essential warm up, practice ball drills, a one hour match and a post-match cool down.
Sessions are also followed by drinks and refreshments in the clubhouse, providing an excellent chance to meet and socialise with teammates.
New players are asked to call ahead of attending to confirm availability. Birmingham Walking FC also host a separate over 40s session in Solihull on Tuesdays at 7pm.
