North Yorkshire walking football with York City FC.
Play walking football at one of North Yorkshire’s best leisure facilities, every Tuesday afternoon from 3pm at Energise in Cornlands Road.
This is the second of four walking football events run by York City Football Club Foundation (YCFC) across the county and takes place in a safe indoor environment.
Energise walking football sessions welcome both male and female players, regardless of experience and ability.
Games follow a five-a-side format and are non-competitive, but with contact allowed. Touches are unlimited but all balls must be played below head height.
It is YCFC’s vision to make a positive impact in the local community through a number of sports initiatives for adults and children.
Other York City FC Foundation walking football sessions take place on Mondays at Burnholme Community Hub, Wednesdays at Huntington School and Thursdays at Vale of York Academy.
