Try Something Less Boring in Milton Keynes.
Something Less Boring (SLB) provides sports and art activities for adults and children in Milton Keynes.
Its walking football sessions at Medbourne Pavilion launched earlier in 2017 and take place every Tuesday afternoon. Sessions are open to both genders and there is no age limit for new players.
The real grass pitch at Medbourne provides a soft, natural surface for a safe and comfortable playing experience. SLB’s walking football events are supported by Newport Pagnell Town FC, with whom the group may look to form a dedicated walking football club in future.
Tuesday sessions cost just £5 per player and last for one hour, starting at 12.30 and ending just in time for a late lunch! Games are both non-contact and non-competitive, although do allow the ball to be played above head height, which is quite rare for walking football.
Something Less Boring also runs two other weekly sessions in the Milton Keynes area – on Wednesdays at Portfields Community Centre and on Mondays at Ousedale School.
SLB is run by Adam and Liddy, who together have almost 20 years of experience in coaching, teaching and working with people of all ages and backgrounds. All SLB representatives are DBS checked and first aid qualified, for extra peace of mind.
