Walking football for those less mobile in Birmingham.
The very essence of walking football is accessibility, but even the most adaptive sessions can still be too much for those less mobile or recovering from illness and injury.
Continue your rehabilitation and play alongside those best suited to your own circumstances with specially-designed walking football sessions organised by Birmingham Walking FC.
Take your place at Beechcroft Tennis and Multi Sport Club every Tuesday morning for one hour from 11am, or every Thursday afternoon from 1pm.
These perfectly-pitched sessions are open to players of all ages and genders, cost just £3 each week (£4 non-members) and include a comfortable warm up and cool down either side of a short match. Sessions are also followed by drinks and refreshments in the clubhouse.
The astroturf pitch at Beechcroft is not suitable for football boots, so players are asked to please wear trainers when attending. In addition, new players are also requested to call ahead of turning up to confirm space availability.
Beechcroft also hosts a variety of walking football sessions for other age groups, including over 40s, 50s and 60s.
